INTERNAL AUDITOR COURSE 14001

Presentation

The Course aims to provide the knowledge and training necessary for the conduct of internal audits of Environmental Management Systems.

To this end, the requirements of the reference standards are covered (ISO 14001:2004 and EMAS European Regulation) as well as verification of the application of the same to Environmental Management Systems.

A qualifying part of the course consists of the discussion of case studies and audit simulations to enable a consistent approach to the methodology of preparation and execution of internal audits.

All those who pass the final exam are awarded a certificate of attendance and advancement.

  • Consultants and professionals who wish to acquire the skills defined by ISO 19011:2003 needed to perform internal audits of the environmental system to their customers' businesses.

LEAD AUDITOR COURSE 14001

Presentation

The course is required for registration in the AICQ-SICEV Register of Certified Auditors for Environmental Management Systems.It provides the knowledge on planning and implementation methods of third party audits for Environmental Management Systems in accordance with ISO 14001:2004.

The course offers an in-depth study of the principles and techniques necessary for the conduct of audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and analyses the requisites of standard ISO 14001:2004 and The European Regulation EEC/1221/2009 "Emas III."The course calls for the assessment of the skills, personal characteristics and communication techniques that aspiring auditors must possess.The course also provides an in-depth analysis of the Italian and EU regulatory framework of applicable environmental laws and the techniques of controlling the environmental aspects involved in the business processes.

Case studies will also be examined and discussed along with evaluation audit simulations.The final exam is subject to the performance evaluation of each participant in exercises, discussions and their contributions.Passing the exam enables the student to obtain the qualification as Lead Auditor ISO 14001 and operate for Certification Bodies, as well as apply for membership to the registers of AICQ-SICEV auditors.

All those who are in possession of a recognised Auditor qualification certificate after the 40 hour course for Management Systems can access the specialised 24 hour course.
