The course aims to provide the knowledge and training necessary for the conduct of internal audits of Quality Management Systems.
In this view, the principles and techniques to carry out such audits are covered in accordance with ISO 19011:2003 and analyse the requirements of ISO 9000:2000 for a correct interpretation of them.A qualifying part of the course consists of the discussion of case studies and audit simulations to enable a consistent approach to the methodology of preparation and execution of internal audits.
All those who pass the final exam are awarded a certificate of attendance and advancement.

This course is required for registration in the AICQ-SICEV Register of Certified Auditors of Quality Management Systems. It provides the knowledge on planning and implementation methods of third party audits of Quality Management Systems according to ISO 9001:2008.
The course offers an in-depth study of the principles and techniques necessary for the conduct of audits in accordance with ISO 19011:2003 along with analyses of the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.The course calls for the assessment of the skills, personal characteristics and communication techniques that aspiring auditors must possess.There will be an examination along with discussions of case studies and an audit simulation.
The final exam is subject to the performance evaluation of each participant in exercises, discussions and their contributions.Passing the exam enables the student to obtain the qualification of Lead Auditor ISO 9001 and operate for Certification Bodies, as well as apply for membership to the registers of AICQ-SICEV auditors.
The Attainment of the Lead Auditor certificate for Quality Management Systems will also allow the student to enrol in the Lead Auditor Course for Environmental and Safety Management Systems, which is a 24 hour course instead of 40 hours.
