INTERNAL AUDITOR COURSE 18001

Presentation

The Course aims to provide the knowledge and training necessary for the conduct of internal audits of Safety Management Systems.

To this end, the requirements of the reference standards are covered (OHSAS 18001:2007 and the Consolidated Safety Law 81/2008) and verification of application of these to the Safety Management Systems.

A qualifying part of the course consists of the discussion of case studies and audit simulations to enable a consistent approach to the methodology of preparation and execution of internal audits.

All those who pass the final exam are awarded a certificate of attendance and advancement.

LEAD AUDITOR COURSE 18001

Presentation

The course provides basic knowledge about the planning and implementation of audits of Safety Management Systems in accordance with standard OHSAS 18001:2007.

The course offers an in-depth study of the principles and techniques necessary for the conduct of audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and analyses the requisites of standard OHSAS 18001:2007, linking them to Legislative Decree 81/2008 (Consolidated Safety Act).The Italian and EU regulatory framework will be presented regarding workplace safety and health protection and the UNI INAIL guidelines will be explained.

The course will analyse the skills, personal characteristics and communication techniques that aspiring auditors must possess.A qualifying part of the course consists of an examination and discussion of case studies and audit simulations.

Admission to the final exam is subject to the performance evaluation of each participant regarding their participation and performance during the case studies and exercises.The final examination at the end of the five days will serve in the process of skills' certification to become Lead Auditor of Workplace Health and Safety Management Systems and to operate on behalf of Certification Bodies.

All those who are in possession of a recognised Auditor Qualification Certificate after the 40 hour course for Management Systems can access the specialised 24 hour course.
